Cookie Policy
This policy explains what vinterstrom.com stores in your browser. It covers this website only — SignalBee and other Vinterstrom products have their own policies.
What is a cookie
A cookie is a small text file stored by your browser. Cookies can be "first-party" (set by the site you visit) or "third-party" (set by another domain, often via embedded content). Websites can also use local storage, which works similarly but is not sent back to the server with each request.
If you do nothing, we store nothing
Visiting and reading this site sets no cookies at all. Nothing is stored in your browser until you either accept analytics in the consent banner, change the theme, or start a booking.
What we store, and when
| Name | Type | Provider | Purpose | Duration | Set when |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
vinterstrom_consent | Local storage | First-party | Remembers whether you accepted or declined analytics, so the banner stops asking | Until you clear site data | You choose Accept or Decline |
theme | Local storage | First-party | Remembers your light / dark theme choice | Until you clear site data | You change the theme |
_ga | Cookie | Google Analytics 4 | Distinguishes visitors for aggregate statistics | 2 years | Only after you accept analytics |
_ga_PPH2NLR65S | Cookie | Google Analytics 4 | Persists session state for the analytics property | 2 years | Only after you accept analytics |
Third-party storage on other domains
Two features load content from other companies. Anything they store is on their domain, under their own policies:
- Cloudflare Turnstile — the anti-spam check on the contact form. It runs in a frame served by
challenges.cloudflare.comand may store data there to distinguish humans from bots. In the mode we use, the check is invisible unless Cloudflare needs to ask you to confirm. - Calendly — the booking popup. It loads only after you click "Book a call", and never for visitors who don't.
What we do not use
- No advertising or behavioural-targeting cookies.
- No cross-site tracking pixels (no Meta Pixel, no LinkedIn Insight Tag, no ad networks).
- No analytics of any kind before you consent. With consent declined, Google Analytics runs in Consent Mode v2 default-deny and writes no identifying cookies.
How to control what is stored
You can clear or block cookies and local storage in your browser settings. To change your analytics choice on this site, clear this site's data in your browser and the consent banner will ask again.
Updates
We update this policy whenever the storage described above changes. The version and date below indicate the current version.
Version 1.1 — effective 2026-07-28.
